What does the GDPR law regulate?
The EU's personal data law (GDPR) is essentially about enabling you to clearly comprehend what companies do with your personal information once you’ve shared it with them. When the GDPR law entered into effect in 2018, Telia Company started a wide GDPR program within the entire company. As many parts of the data protection regulation were already in place in the previous data protection directive, we were able to build on our experience and already established procedures, while ensuring that the new regulations were implemented.
So why do we even collect information? To assist you in the best possible way we have to know a great deal about you. Your name and where you live are just a few examples of things that enables us to easily help you in any situation. At the same time we always want you to feel completely secure about what happens with your personal information.
If you have any questions about how we take care of your personal data at Telia Finance, please contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO).
